Our Team
Keith P., Pet Sitter
Hi, I’m Keith! I’ve been surrounded by animals of all sorts for most of my life. I’ve lived in lots of different environments, small towns and big cities, but almost always, I’ve had an animal companion with me (even when I had to sneak them in). Whether on farms or in city apartments, pets of one sort or another have always been a constant in my life. I have a B.A. from Eastern Illinois University, grew up in the South Suburbs, but have lived in the North Suburbs for over 20 years. After a career in Human Resources, I’ve decided to do something different, but still…familiar.
For over 20 years, my wife and I have adopted a total of 8 dogs (all mini dachshunds, but I love big dogs too!) For a number of years, we had 3 cats (Mazey, Nikolai, and Annie) and 3 doxies, all peacefully coexisting under one roof. Most of the time we take a lot of joy in our senior dogs, and even lived with a ‘cart dog’ named Delilah. I’m an expert at changing diapers on dogs. We also had seizure dogs and others, who required special care and lots of meds. Our pets are our family. It’s been a fulfilling journey, sometimes difficult, sometimes tearful, but always worth it. Currently, we have Lucy (15), Artie (16), and Hunter (7). All dachshunds.
They have always been a blessing to us.
I understand that each pet is unique and has its own special needs. Whether administering medications, following dietary restrictions, or simply having fun and providing playtime, I am committed to the safety and well being of your pets, as I am my own. With a love for animals in general and extensive experience with rescues and dogs with special needs, I am confident I can provide quality time with your pet.
Delaney F., Pet Sitter
Hi my name is Delaney and I love taking care of animals. I have always had dogs, cats, rabbits, and fish. I have had animals my whole life and previously worked at a doggy daycare, caring for several dogs at a time, as well as administering medication and feeding 70 plus dogs a day.
I come from a big family and grew up with a schnauzer who lived to be 17 years old and several rabbits, one of which lived to be 14 years old.
I enjoy taking care of all things living and currently have a husky mix named Wilson with an extremely spunky attitude as well as two Oscar fish named Tom and Jerry that are about a foot in size each in a 75 gallon tank. I look forward to creating a special bond with new clients and furry friends and also getting to know your pets one on one.
Josie M., Pet Sitter
Hi! My name is Josie! I have always been an animals lover, but I also love baking, reading, and relaxing on a serene beach. I am more of an introverted type, but once someone gets to know me I can really open up. I currently own 2 dogs named Bella and Genny. Bella is a rescue from Orphans of the Strom who is a Pointer-Lab mix. Genny is a Cockapoo that is a total diva! Although I only have dogs, I have my love for cats as well. I can’t wait to meet your pets!
Steve S., Pet Sitter
I’ve been an animal lover my whole life. I’ve been fascinated by the workings of our world and have worked in fields using my biology training. I’ve also been a life long pet owner. I’ve owned various breeds of dogs ranging from chihuahuas to greyhounds! I’ve learned the various personalities and mannerisms of different breeds and love them for who they are.
After a long career in biotechnology I decided to take on the challenge of training dogs. I purchased a training business and learned to train dogs using a friendly, non confrontational method. I ran this business for about 10 years. During this time I was volunteering for Northern Lights Greyhound Adoption in Minnesota. I became very familiar with this unique breed and adopted them myself.
Since moving back to Illinois in spring of 2025 I’ve kept busy with volunteering for dog rescue and working on other dog care such as walking, feeding, and caring for pets. I’ve also become familiar with cats and their needs and upkeep. I treat all animals as if they were my own and enjoy keeping them healthy and happy.
Macy G., Pet Sitter
Hi! My name is Macy and I am a senior at Lake Forest College. I'm pursuing a major in psychology and a minor in legal studies. I've played ice hockey all my life and had the pleasure of playing at Lake Forest College for the past 3 years.
This next year I'm really excited to spend more time working, learning from, and getting to know different animals. With an always busy schedule, I've found that being around animals is one of the most underrated therapy for anyone's mental health. Dogs will always have a special place reserved in my heart but I also have love taking care of cats, reptiles, and other pets.
I look forward to get to know you and your pet not only to give them the love they deserve but to also make your life easier in any way I can!
Karen L., Scheduling Manager
Hi I’m Karen! Throughout my 60 years , I’ve had all sorts of pets, from reptiles to livestock. I currently have 5 dogs, 4 cats, 3 birds, 3 mini donkeys, one mini horse, and Walter, the sheep. I do a lot of animal rescue and that is how most of my animals have ended up with me. I’m retired, due to an injury from a freak accident with one of my horses, from horse and dog training as well as having my own dog grooming business for 25 years. Presently, I help manage visit requests and schedules. I look forward to meeting you and your pets!
